As a Research Analyst, I can see the benefit of being able to collaborate and keep in contact with various authorities and resources. I hope to develop “blog smarts” in these areas. My greatest deterrent to blogging is that it seems as if the greatest benefits of blogging are in the areas of publishing content to an “unknown group” or in some cases to a small known group. I understand the technology, I just don’t completely understand why I should use blogging as opposed to email/phone/etc. … alas, I’m open to give it a go. My initial goal: keep my postings as questions.
I guess blogging is a way to inform the masses…but I also have a hard time keeping it up! I agree…what’s the difference between posting a blog and sending out a mass email with pictures? I guess it’s just the “new fad” among us “Generation Y”ers…gotta have the newest, technological ways to communicate.
