I’ve just finished my homework for CSE 627 which means (weather permitting) I’ll be hiking on Saturday. I’ve put several pages on my blog to help organize/differentiate between “fun”/”work”/”class”/etc. but I’m not sure if pages are the best way to accomplish my objective. This is where the real learning occurs…

As a Research Analyst, I can see the benefit of being able to collaborate and keep in contact with various authorities and resources. I hope to develop “blog smarts” in these areas. My greatest deterrent to blogging is that it seems as if the greatest benefits of blogging are in the areas of publishing content to an “unknown group” or in some cases to a small known group. I understand the technology, I just don’t completely understand why I should use blogging as opposed to email/phone/etc. … alas, I’m open to give it a go. My initial goal: keep my postings as questions.
